Connor's First Bike

I was so excited to get Connor a new bike. Not being the first child means you get hand me downs. Well actually, my first got a lot of hand me downs from his cousin too (I'm not complaining). I doubt he noticed ^_^

Anyway, he's been riding his brother's Radio Flyer tricycle. He started off moving with his feet on the ground when he was still cared by YiYi (Sui Fong). When I put him in the preschool where I work, I saw him still using his feet to move around.

Recently, I can't remember (within the last 2 months?) he started to use the pedals. I figured it was time to buy him a bike that he can ride and maybe learn to ride without the training wheels (in the near future). Our evening walks were fun but we end up having to wait for him. Even though he seems to be pedaling fast, the tricycle goes slow....

Anyway, while we were shopping, I stopped by the bike area to check out some bikes. He was so excited when I put him on the bike at the store to see if it was the right size. He had the biggest smile (shy kind of smile)... He stared at it most of the time while it was in the cart.

We let him take it out after dinner yesterday (6/14/15). He kept pedaling it back (which activates the breaks). I think while trying to pedal, he goes the wrong direction. I notice the seat was too high and brought it all the way down. After about 5-10 minutes of daddy helping him, he finally got the hang of it... then it was "Mom! Watch! Fast! Zoom! Zoom!"

Here he is riding around the playground and with his brother. Now we don't have to wait for him because the tricycle didn't allow him to go as fast during our walks.

On a side note: Connor has been stitching together words to form mini sentences (as much as he can) such as "my shoes" - "Connor fall down" - "2 trucks"

He's so cute. He's still emotional and lately when he's upset he throws up his hands and smashes it down saying "No!" I wonder if he learned that in school lol.

He also started asking to pee in the toilet. He prefers sitting now for some reason. I think that's what he does at school. Every time he asks to pee, I feel his diaper and it's warm as if he's going that moment. He's able to hold back and pee the rest in the toilet. It's progress!

Dustin - 10 Months

I want to cry because I just did a "Save the Date" for his first birthday in a couple of months! So, this month was a month full of exciting things for Dustin.

I had to pick him up from the sitter's house on May 20th because he had a fever...I took him to the doctor's office because he had a virus too but I also felt teeth! His first tooth! Poor baby.

He's allergic to Pano (our Cat). He loves to play with him but I always try to watch him carefully because he'll start to break out in hives. I usually keep him in long sleeves and long pants (even in this heat) but he'll get hives on his ankle area and wrists where it's exposed. I wash his hands often especially after he touches Pano. While making breakfast one morning, I was occupied with showing his older brother how to help cook. When I checked on him, he was covered in hives and his face was swollen. He had rubbed his face after touching the cat. I had to wash him and give him Benadryl. Now, we're thinking about putting the cats up for adoption. Such a tough decision.

I have seen him move around but not actually crawling. He turns 10 months and he started crawling that day! After 2 kids, I'm still as excited as when the first one crawled! I was a little worried because both boys have already crawled by now but I know every child is different. He did come earlier than his brothers (6 weeks early).

I noticed that all my boys crawled differently.
Logan started off on hands and knees. One day, he just stared forward, and took off (slowly).
Connor started earlier army crawling and moving fast too! He did this for awhile before crawling on hands and knees.
Dustin crawls on one knee and the other on his left feet (knee up) as you can see in the video.

I can't wait until he takes his first steps (He's already pulling himself up on objects). Then, I'm in trouble trying to keep up with 3 little monkeys!

I love his babbling

He eats great when he's not sick!

His 10 Month shoot. I'm losing my creativity.

I still think he looks more like Connor:
